Artworks Connellsville is announcing
an Author or the week program.
Artworks Connellsville is pleased to announce that Dorothy Chernitsky is the Author of the week for February 7-13. If you know anyone that has served in WWII you know that they are very reluctant to share their experiences during that time. In a twist of fate, Dorothy started collecting funny, serious or just interesting personal accounts of everyday life from The Men of the 110th Infantry. Her book “Voices from the Foxholes” contains the emotional, funny and touching first-hand accounts of these brave men in and out of combat situations. Dorothy Chernitsky is from Uniontown. Pa.
ArtWorks Connellsville is pleased to announce that the beginner sewing class
will be taught by Keri Fosbrink on Saturday February 20,
from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in the learning center.
Beginner sewing is for anyone that has never used a sewing machine or would like a refresher class. In class we will cover the parts of a machine, basic machine maintenance, machine safety, how to avoid breaking needles, and complete a beginner sewing project for a reusable tote bag. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine if they have one. Class size is limited to 6 students.
Students will need to bring: 1 yard of printed duck cloth (check Hobby Lobby or JoAnn Fabrics), matching thread, and scissors.
If students are unable to purchase material, it can be purchased from the instructor for $12.00 before class. Just let us know. Registration must be made in person at artworks. The fee is $25 per student. Artworks Connellsville 724.320.6392
Learn to Sew under the
instruction of Keri Fosbrink.
Keri J Fosbrink has been creating and selling handmade
items online and at local craft fairs since 2013 (though her friends and family
have been enjoying them for much longer).
As a young girl she learned to sew and quilt from her grandmother who
ran a custom sewing and upholstery business from her home. She is also a self-taught knitter and crocheter. She has been giving private lessons in
crocheting, knitting and sewing for several years.
If you have any questions please call Chuck Hubbell at Artworks.

Are you looking for a place to exhibit and potentially sell your art? Do you have ten to twenty pieces ready for exhibition but don’t have a venue to display and hopefully sell that Art? Artworks Connellsville is leasing three walls approximately 10 feet wide by 8 feet high for Art Exhibitions. The lease would be issued for 30 calendar days, starting on the first day of the exhibition. The cost for each 30 day period would be $50 payable in advance. The lease fee is non-refundable nor prorated. The terms of your consignment agreement would remain as written and all sales subject to that agreement.
The big question is… Are you willing to invest in yourself and exhibit your artistic creations at your Gallery Artworks Connellsville?
Twin Artists Connie Rhodes and Bonnie Brougher are Artists that have leased the first wall At Artworks Connellsville. The time is
now to come to the Exhibition room of Gallery and view their work. Each piece of their unique work
is one of a kind and would be a welcome addition in most homes. Once again your neighbors are artistically creating something just for you. Artworks is
located at 139 West Crawford Avenue in beautiful Downtown Connellsville.
Artworks Connellsville is compiling a schedule for spring, summer and autumn art classes. Now is the time to schedule a time for you to teach an art class. Please call as soon as possible so we may discuss dates and availability for your medium.
We have sold over 600 pieces of art since November 2014 and are looking to replenish those items. Bring three or four items you wish to display and we will give you space.
